Grow the business you're building...

...and grow yourself right along with it.

hello there,

I'm Joan.

I help owners turn a business that's running them into one they actually run.

That means systems that hold when you're not in the room, people who grow into the jobs you need them to do, and a plan you can work from on Monday morning — not a report that sits in a drawer.

It started with one laundry shop in 2014. Today I lead close to fifty people across three companies, and I spend my days handing other owners the map I had to draw myself.

Your business willonly grow as much asyou do.

It's the belief behind every consultation: the ceiling of a business is the person running it. Grow the owner, and the business follows.

It started with one laundry shop

A single small business in Manila, run hands-on from the first day. It taught her the difference between working hard and running something well — stock, staff, cashflow, and the hundred small decisions nobody warns a first-time owner about.

IEN Business Consultancy is founded on a simple idea: hand the map over. Help owners avoid the mistakes she made, then stay beside them while they build — a working relationship, not a report delivered and forgotten.

2014 2016
my journey,

Well, hello there!

I started my business journey in 2014 with a laundry shop.

It was a memorable turning point in my life because it opened many opportunities—not only for me, but also for the people I worked with and the businesses we eventually helped through our consultancy services.

In 2016, IEN Business Consultancy was established. I started this journey with a simple vision: to help aspiring entrepreneurs grow through the lessons I learned from my own experiences. I wanted to help them avoid some of the mistakes and failures I encountered along the way and give them guidance as they build their businesses.

My goal has always been simple—to help people grow and succeed in business, regardless of their industry.

currently...

Leading, mentoring & still growing

Over the years, I have built and led multiple businesses. Today, I lead and mentor nearly 50 employees while helping business owners make better decisions through consultancy, training, and strategic guidance.

As a CEO, entrepreneur, wife, and mother, I believe leadership is not only about achieving success in business. It is also about creating impact, developing people, and continuously growing as a person.

My mission is to help individuals and businesses become better versions of themselves through leadership, discipline, integrity, and continuous learning.

the one who decides

Nearly fifty people's Mondays depend on the calls I make on a Friday. I make them early, explain them plainly, and own them out loud when they turn out wrong. The standard I hold my teams to is the one I set for myself first.

the one who starts things

One laundry shop in 2014. A consultancy in 2016. Then realty services, and an equipment and supply company. Each one began the same way: I saw a gap, worked out whether it could be run properly, and started.

the one in your corner

I help owners grow through the lessons I've already learned — so they can avoid the mistakes and failures I met along the way, and build with guidance beside them.

the one they come home to

I'm not there for every hour of the day, but I don't miss the hours that count — the promise, the birthday, the long talk at the end of a hard week. My boys are the reason the standard never drops.

the one who isn't doing it alone

Nothing I've built was built by one person. I count my marriage as part of the work, not a break from it — partnership was the first system I ever ran.
